I haven't tried Bubbies Saurkraut but I love their relish. I have it almost every day for lunch.

Very nice photos in this entry. I think my favorite morning ritual is tea and a bagel topped with almond butter :)

I love finding tasty gf breads! My favorite sunflower and wild rice bread right now is by Kinnikinnick (I think I spelled that right), a Canadian company, which is probably why it costs over $6 a loaf...but so worth it when I can space out the sandwich-eatings to every couple of days.

That sandwich sounds delicious--I love spicy and sour things. Recently I found a really good millet and sweet rice bread at Whole Foods. I'm able to enjoy sandwiches for the first time in months! I want to pick up some sauerkraut and try your sandwich!

In the mornings, I get up while it is still dark, take the dogs out in the yard, feed them, make smoothies, and load the dishwasher. Sometimes I go back to bed, and sometimes I knit until it gets light out. Then I listen to Morning Edition and walk the dogs. By the time I get back around 9, it's time to make tea and get to work. I often take naps in the afternoon. I get very grouchy without enough sleep.

I am always torn between my extreme love of cooking and breakfast foods and my laziness about getting productive that early in the day. Lately the routine starts with a glass of hot water and lemon juice, and a piece of fruit, followed by a fresh cup of black coffee (beans roasted and fresh-ground by my brother) -- If I'm peckish, a couple of more pieces of fruit, maybe with a little oatmeal. It's been so cold and miserable here in Oregon I've been slicing up a pear or apple, adding a few raisins and a sprinkle of cinnamon, then popping it in the microwave for a minute to make an instant warm fruit salad. Yum.
